Managing Attorney

My name is Paul Brian Spurlock, and I have been practicing Social Security disability law for over 35 years. Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to helping those who are struggling with disabilities obtain the benefits they are entitled to.

In 1986, I founded Disability Law Center, and since then, my team and I have helped thousands of people navigate the often-complicated Social Security system. It has been a fulfilling journey, and I have learned so much along the way.

I am a licensed attorney in Louisiana and a graduate of Loyola New Orleans College of Law. My education has been an essential foundation for my career, but it is my experience that has truly shaped me into the lawyer I am today. Over the years, I have worked with clients from all walks of life and have seen firsthand the challenges they face when trying to obtain Social Security benefits. It is my mission to make that process as smooth as possible.

One of the things I am most proud of is my involvement with the Fifth Circuit Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. I have been honored to serve as its President for three terms now, and I am grateful for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many people.

In addition to my work with the Fifth Circuit Organization, I have also lectured for NOSSCR, FOSSCR, the Federal Bar Association, and many other organizations. I am passionate about sharing my knowledge and experience with others and helping them navigate the complex world of Social Security disability law.

Looking back on my career, I am proud of the work I have done and the people I have helped. It has been a challenging but rewarding journey, and I look forward to continuing to help those in need for many years to come.
